Living shorelines, stone revetments, breakwaters and jetties that slow erosion and protect the land behind them.
What we do
Living Shorelines & Stone Revetments, done right the first time
Stone and marsh, placed right, can protect a shoreline for a long time. We build living shorelines with stone sills and plantings, stone revetments along eroding banks, and breakwaters and jetties where the water needs to be calmed or the sand held.

Questions
Living Shorelines & Stone Revetments: FAQ
Have a question that isn’t here? Call 410-255-2999.
What is a living shoreline?
A living shoreline uses natural materials such as marsh plants and sand, often protected by a low stone sill, to control erosion while keeping a natural edge to the water.
Do you work from the water or the land?
Both. Depending on access we work from shore with excavators or from the water with our barge.
Can you add stone to an existing revetment?
Yes. Stone shoreline replenishment is part of the work we do.
